Specific Tear / Zipper Breach
Get sharp macro (close-up) photos of the specific seam tear, zipper split, or wearing point where the fiberglass sock is exposed or escaping.

Take high-contrast, wide-angle photos of contaminated areas under flashlight (e.g., glittering floors, shiny clothes, glistening carpets).
Medical Logs & Symptoms
Keep copies of medical bills, skin doctor diagnostic cards, symptom diaries, and pictures of active skin rashes/irritation.

Crucial Legal Warnings for Victims:
- Do NOT throw away the law label tag: Many manufacturers rely on the law tag as "Exhibit A". Under standard legal review, removing or losing the tag before auditing can severely decrease your restitution options or cause a claim dismissal.
- Photograph the label on the mattress itself: Ensure you document the tag while it is still securely stitched or attached to the mattress. Do not rip it off to take pictures, as this could draw bad-faith assertions that the label was from a different mattress.
- Safe physical preservation: If you must dispose of the mattress body, first double-bag it in thick plastic to encapsulate the fibers. If possible, cut out the small corner piece containing the law tags and place it in a separate double-sealed Ziploc bag.
